The approval requires a down payment of $49.95 to ship and seems like a good deal. I noticed that the contract was a lease to own with 90 days same as cash which seems like the best method to use since the lease fees are a little expensive. In a home like mine with Echos of one form or another in every room and a Ring security system with motion sensors and cameras, I already get most of what this robot offers.
Their customer service department, I think, is completely dead. I am not sure what has happened to the ASTRO service nowadays. The ASTRO ON DEMAND keeps on buffering although I have checked my internet line. Trying to discuss anything from poor service quality to receptive sports channels ie Cricket etc and multi room issues plus the fact that Penang Island no longer has an Astro office is bewildering .
I’ve had instances before Astro when I’ve been out of the house and wanted to investigate what was going on in a particular room or what our two dogs were up to. I’ve had limited success using Echos for this same function due to their stationary screens. In this specific regard, the mobility and multiple cameras of the Astro are a big plus. I often start the day with an “Astro, good morning,” to run Alexa’s morning routine of weather and news that I set and to get Astro moving about. I end the day with “Astro, goodnight,” so it knows to be quiet and go back on its charger until morning or otherwise woken.
I really don't care for penalty as I know I am right, the combined Astro & fiber internet are supposed to enhance my pleasure of both services not creating stress for me due to their ###ic inability to set up a workable process. It’s a clever solution, although I wouldn’t have thought many would use gaming headsets as all-purpose devices, given their bulky nature compared with regular headphones. There’s also the option to fiddle with the mic’s sidetone and adjust the noise gate to suit whichever environment or situation you happen to be in.
While we as adults may decide the convenience outweighs the deterioration of privacy, that's not a status quo I want my children -- whose affection Astro could certainly win over in time -- to grow up with. On 2nd day they (maxis & TM) turned up and found that the wire was severed. All they did was patch the severed wire with a black tape and bury it into the ground again. I told them, this may not work as it is as I can see a temporary fix. The whole wire needs to be replaced and connected back into the broadband port. I was even willing to pay for this since I really do not want more issues later.

The Astro A30 Wireless provides a great all-round experience for those wanting a stylish headset to use on lots of devices.
